Engineered for exceptional acoustic performance, IzoSound panels use a specialised glass‑mineral wool core whose fibres are engineered with micro‑grooves, dramatically increasing friction with airborne sound waves. This refined fibre geometry converts more noise energy into heat, raising sound insulation beyond that of conventional mineral wool. Thanks to an added layer of acoustic felt, IzoSound delivers enhanced absorption of high-frequency sounds. Compared to standard mineral wools of the same thickness, IzoSound typically improves sound insulation by around 3 dB.
Beyond its noise control capabilities, IzoSound also provides effective thermal insulation. Its thermal conductivity coefficient is λ = 0.038 W/(m·K), helping to retain heat and improve energy efficiency. (This means it doesn’t just quiet things down — it helps regulate temperature, too.)
The panel is well-suited for industrial and commercial settings — ideal for insulating around compressors, HVAC units, industrial machinery, and attenuator splitters.
Installation is very flexible: IzoSound can be integrated into partition panels, mechanical equipment housing, or ductwork without the need for specialist tools. Its durable mineral-wool construction ensures long-lasting acoustic and thermal performance under demanding conditions.
