Vibro-WB is installed between gypsum board wall structures and the main building framework, typically in systems where walls are mounted on anti-vibration pads or floating floors.
The brace is fixed to the vertical studs and connected to the structural frame using suitable fasteners, ensuring there is no direct metal-to-metal contact between the wall and the building structure.
Integrated vibration-damping elements absorb both compressive and tensile forces, preventing direct vibration transfer through the connection points.
Vibro-WB must not be used for vertical load-bearing applications. Metal washers must be used at all fixing points to ensure correct load distribution and secure installation. The wall system must remain fully decoupled from rigid structural connections to maintain acoustic performance.
